I brought Nana a butter croissant and I asked her if she wants to share the croissant with me. She said yes. Then, I took about one fourth of the croissant for myself and gave the rest to Nana.
Nana laughed. "Bapak, this is not berbagi."
I said "Well, berbagi is sharing, right? I get some of the croissant and you get some as well"
"But this is not a fair share. You get a little, I get the big one."
I paused a little while.
*silence* *wind blows* *unnecessary dramatization*
"Well, I actually ate something else just now," I explained, "so I am a little bit full. I just want to taste the croissant. So, getting a little is okay with me."
Nana still puzzled.
"Fair share is not always equal, right?"
Nana didn't respond further. She proceeded to eat her croissant.
